Sketch #1

This image is a drawing of my single greatest engineering feat in the game Minecraft.  This free-form game encourages the player to build structures based only upon the limits of his or her imagination.  In order to build these structures, however, resources must be mined and ultimately stored for later retrieval.  Managing these resources can become quite a task, and so I decided to make a storage and distribution hub.

My Minecraft distribution center

On the top level, which has a domed glass ceiling has a series of powered rail-carts which move down the central shaft to one of seven floors, each of which allowing for a striking  amount of item storage.  Additionally, a bridge (not depicted here) on the reverse side has multiple rails which allow for quick transportation to active construction sites.
